Library Assistant I
Heritage Public Library is now accepting applications for the position of Library Assistant I. The Library Assistant I is our front-line customer service employee, with duties that can include checking books in and out, shelving books, computer troubleshooting, recommending books or other information resources, and assisting with youth or adult programs. The position will work approximately 20 hours per week (schedule to be determined) and will require flexibility to be scheduled at any HPL location.

The Heritage Public Library Director is responsible for establishing, implementing, and communicating strategies, direction, plans, and programs for the operation and growth of the HPL system to suit the needs of the community and to direct the efforts of library staff and volunteers under the policies, guidance, and at the pleasure of the HPL Board of Trustees.
